How much $ for insurance Survey

My insurance company is requiring me to get an in water survey for the first time. Does anyone know how much should I expect to pay for one? I was quoted $18 per foot plus expenses by the guy who did the pre purchase survey for me a few years back. Does this sound about right?

$14 a foot here 3 years ago. No mechanicals.

$15 per foot plus oil samples this morning in Wrightsville Beach, NC.

I would consider a different ins co. Boat us wanted a survey, Sea Tow did not so went with them.

An in water insurance survey should not be that much. It is a much less involved then a Buyers survey. No haul out, no sea trial. Call around
