How do you inspect for a bad transom on a boat equipped with a Merc I/O? I have owned and worked on many boats and know how to inspect the transom on an outboard boat, what is different with an I/O? I am in the market for a used deck boat and have run across a few that "have a bad transom" but have not been able to detect this.
