How to remove glue.........

Hi, I have a mooring cover with velcro strips on the inside of the top. I would like to remove them and would like to know how to remove the glue that is left behind. I pulled one strip off and the glue is a goopy mess. Please help.....

Have you tried "Goof Off?" It removes various paints and other unwanted products. Just depends upon the type of glue. Each one has a solvent that will work on it. Have to be careful with solvents though as they could damage the cover. Goof Off is generally fairly mild. Heat will sometimes work, but not sure I would want to use that on your cover.

I found 3M Adhesive Remover very good. Read the label to see what you're going to use it on. Another idea, you might be able to freeze the glue & pick it off like gum?
