What a great day it was at Haverstraw Marina and in Haverstraw Bay today. The sailing ships arrived on time, the weather was perfect, the crowds were large, the participation of boaters was probably as large as I've ever seen for any event on the bay (including the poker runs) and it was just fun to be part of it all. Hope everyone had as great a boating weekend as we did.

We rode up past Indian point with the flotilla. What a beautiful sight.

Hogan, did you happen to take pictures? I was "sans camera" this weekend...

That's like asking if he has beer on his boat!!!!

A few of us managed to dissuade a friend from organizing a party of "natives" in kayaks on Sat.. I thought it would be funny, but I knew there would be a heavy LE/CG presence. I heard the PT boat broke down around Yonkers. I had been looking forward to boarding it at Wash. Irving on Sunday.
W.I. didn't have a PT boat, but the bar was open, and we had a Desig.Driver :)

Yes, talk about lucky. The captain had six crew members...

Show that to L. Keith in John's "Boater etiquette..." thread when he refers to us "butt picken Yankees";)
