Regarding fiberglass repair.
When fixing blisters they grind them down to the glass mesh, then apply epoxy. Now I can see how the epoxy would bond to the newly exposed glass because there is a lot of surface area and texture there - but how does it bond to the surrounding diameter of the old gelcoat and glass edge? Or does it? I can't see why it would bond along the edge, and instead it is just s patch of epoxy floating in that spot. Anybody have an understanding of this?
