The boys over at LICC have their panties all up in bunch over this "storm" - anyone here care or worried about it?

It ain't gonna get up your way, so why worry.
The winds could get bad, may want to cover the still and get the banjo's out of the rain.
Also don't be climbing the telephone pole in the wind to make any phone calls.

Yep, boating on the Hudson is GREAT!!!!

I was planning on heading down to the jersey shore this weekend but now got to find another destination. Anyone have any recommendations for a 1 or 2 night trip?

I'm hearing the water is now going to turn ugly tomorrow... don't know how any regal could make it in high seas like that. I'm staying home

Another weekend that's not looking good, can't catch a break with this weather this season.

I'll second that!

Will be on the boat this weekend so I can watch the Cruiser up the dock. I love the way the swim platform slams the water, sending it flying everywhere. Seeing the hull flex each time to absorb the shock is so much fun to see!

;)

I loved my Cruisers.
Took it in 6 foot walls of water and no issues.
Took my Regal in 3 - 4 foot chop and it lost its nuts.
So you may be right about that comment, but I will sit at the dock for this one regardless!
Both are great boats.

Don't you remember the trip to Marthas Vineyard?

How you had to slow down because you said, "this slamming is killing my Cruiser..." Our lowly Regal had to take over the lead and part the waves for you!

On flat seas we respectfully fall in line behind your superior speed but when the going gets tough we are there for you Bobby!

I bet the Trojan-Bertram-Hatteras can handle it.

Woops - Them there are fighting words...Look out?

Forget the hurricane..you got some storms coming and tornadoe warnings

I only own a Caver/Trojan/Hatteras.

It handled quite well when going to Marthas. I did not touch the throttles most of the way. I can't complain..... Yet....

Hey, but then again we were the only ones who went to Marthas that day. Did not see to many other boats out there.

This sounds like my ride back from Block 3 to 5s with a few 6+ for good measure. Boat never pounded I maintained 20+ and for over an hour never saw another boat. Nothing like a Trojan! I start to question my judgment about heading out but I'm glad I did it's good to learn what your boat can and can not handle although I don't really want to find out what it can't handle but I think you know what I mean.

Yup, some people LIKE going slow! ;)

Capt Art, Just an FYI, the "boat bashing" going on here is mostly amongst friends from the same marina and is done 100% tongue in cheek. As far as I can tell no feelings were hurt.

Hey, I resemble that remark

My swim platform sprays the dock with water when the rollers come "thru" the sea wall. Timing is everything when you walk past my boat on dock D.

Where on D, we're in 30?
