I was up at B &W recently and the damn hyacinth was so bad you could have walked on it. When I pulled my boat out it looked like a Rose Bowll float and the the stuff was jammed between my hull and the trailer bunks. Broke both bunks by the time I got home. The local paper ran a story on it and I guess it is still a mess. This is bad for business as I won't be back anytime soon. What is the state or anyone else doing about it....or better yet what can anyone do about it. Maybe we should send it down to the farmers in my area

I just can't imagine why our officials are not doing anything about it since so many people and businesses are suffering because of this invasion.
 
I was under the impression the hyacinth was gone for the season. Was at The Point two weeks ago. There it was - flowing down the Sacramento River again.
 
The food is great. It is back to its classic old self.
 
Great....I hope they still ring the bell in the bar when you pull your boat into the marina........a classic touch out of the past

Yep, they still ring the bell. Everything as it was. Vicky is back tending bar too.
