I am likely not spelling it correctly, but I have a Hynautic brand steering setup on my boat. There is a plastic resevoir for the fluid, and it says use ATF. Well heck - type A or type F? And I am told the unit also needs to be pumped up with a little air using a bike tire pump. Where? How much? I also have a fly bridge so the fluid must circulate there too, is that where I check the level? With things running or shut down? Darn thing is working just fine and I'd like to keep it that way! Thanks for the help.
