Make sure you hold back final payment until you are sure the job is to your satisfaction. He did my front & side panels & nothing fits. Zippers don't close all the way, can't snap all the snaps....

He did a rather big job for me that was unique and challenging. Even thou I had paid him in full he still returned several months later when we found that heavy rains would cause a leaking issue that required a custom skirt to be made and installed to correct the issue.

My point is he could have dragged his feet and fought me on it but he took a definite "if you are not happy we will fix it until you are" attitude which I found very refreshing.

In a field full of thieves Harry is very honorable. Give him another chance Judy and give him a call.
 
Harry did work for me to my complete satisfaction. Well... he could have done it for free <gr>.
 
Harry is very good. The other person in the area is a whole other story.
 
He did come back, a number of times. Kept saying it would close when "it got warmer". It never did. I have recommended him to a number of people on this site and I agree, he is certainly better than some of the others around but it is always a good practice to hold back final payment on anything until you are happy with the product. Maybe I will ask him to come back next year when I am at Pennybridge. I would like to know his opinion when he realizes whether it is 10 degrees or 100 degrees..it does not fit.

Guys,

Didn't want to start a debate, just needed Harry's number. I have used Patino more than once and have been happy with his work.

We are looking at what we consider to be a large job, and I am looking for more than one price before moving forward.
 
Harry's price will most likely come in a bit higher but you will get the job done when he promises, the quality is much better, you won't have a big "Made by" sticker sewn into the back of the job and a lot less hassle!

Remember, you get what you pay for in this world. Although in the boating world there is the corollary that adds, "sometimes you get what you pay for" and "fast, good, cheap. pick two"
 
I have to say that I am very pleased with the canvas work Patino did for me, however, I can't say the same for the upholstery job.
 
Me too. I had to chase the guy (Patino) around some to get him to fix a few things, but he did make good on everything and I'm satisfied with the work now.
 
Hey is Dennis still around...... May take longer than Pantino but used to do good work.
