I fill my boat, a '87 Sea Ray 230 Weekender, with fuel and head to the marina. I start taking on water as soon as I put it in the water. I could hear it dripping in and the bilge pump is coming on every three minutes. Well I'm told that it's probably the exhaust collector or what ever it's called. Since I've got to pull the motor I'm going to do some other work on it and it will be out of commission for awhile. I've got about 50 gallons of fuel in there. Should I get it out of there or should I treat it so it doesn't go bad. And how should I go either. I was thinking about siphoning it out, but I don't want to burn.
Any help is appreciated.
