or at least sunny!!! I want to spend the weekend at the boat getting cleaned up and presentable for the season.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

As a lapsed Catholic, I'll take a moment this Easter to pray for something that's worthwhile in our lives, sunshine. Warm sunshine.

Everyday the coming weekend's weather looks cooler and cooler. I think I need a miracle!!!

Nice pics!

You don't see too many of those Bayliner 4050 Bodega's these days...

Thanks!

You don't see a lot of Bodega's, I know! It just so happened that we were on one too! Our good friend has one and that's what we were on. Of course, since I was the one taking pictures it's not shown.

The central Delta weekend looks to be partly sunny with highs of 64-62 but Wednesday and Thursday this week looks nice: sunny to mostly sunny, a light breeze well under 10 mph and 71-70 degrees.

yzer, this morning the forecast sound even better with a temp of 70 on Friday; mostly sunny on Saturday and a slight chance of rain on Sunday. I'm going to the boat! Wash it on Friday; enjoy it on Saturday and drive home on Sunday.

I need my boat fix!!!!

NWS forecast hasn't changed that much.

These NWS forecasts are cute. If you move the cursor on this one to the middle of Franks Tract the wind will pick up 2 mph and the temperature will drop a degree.

If you move the cursor to the middle of the San Joaquin River at San Andreas Shoal you will get the marine point forecast that shows this information:

This Afternoon: NNW wind 8 to 13 kt. Sunny.

Tonight: NNW wind 7 to 13 kt becoming W after midnight. Mostly clear.

Wednesday: WNW wind 5 to 8 kt becoming N in the morning. Sunny.

Wednesday Night: WSW wind 6 to 8 kt. Mostly clear.

Thursday: W wind 8 to 10 kt. Sunny.

Thursday Night: W wind 8 to 10 kt becoming NNW after midnight. Mostly clear.

Friday: NNW wind 6 to 9 kt. Mostly sunny.

Friday Night: NW wind around 6 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Mostly cloudy.

Saturday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming WSW 8 to 13 kt in the morning. Partly sunny.

I'm heading out on Thursday for a few boat jobs and a short cruise to stretch her legs a bit. She's been cooped up in the slip for the past 6 weeks or so.

If you end up over by Bethel Island, make your way up Piper Slu and give a holler!

I like to get my weather from KCRA TV Ch 3.

I watch the Sacramento Channel 3 weather as well and really enjoy Mark Finan, especially when he gets all geeky and excited about thunderstorms and possible funnel clouds.

However, Finan and KCRA don't cover Delta weather in any detail. I live in Davis not 25 miles north of the Delta (and 15 miles east of Sacto) and notice significant weather differences between Davis/Sacramento/Stockton and the Delta, especially for wind and temperature. The NWS point forecasts are much more reliable. Like any weather forecast: sometimes they are no better than using a Ouija board and sometimes they are spot on. Weather forecasts always get more reliable closer to the forecast time.

You are correct about the differences. I just automatically take Fairfield's conditions and Stockton's conditions and figure that Bethel Island is in the middle. I'm not sure what would work for Davis.....

If I have a critical need for info, I go to Lauritzen Marina's website in Antioch.
