info on the narrows

Benn a long time since up through, and the club is headed for Langford over Mem. Day, so since I am in Shady Side, I plan to go around the top and come into the Chester, but didn't know how much corner you van cut down at the narrows, or should you shoot for that marked area in the southeast corner, and then turn into river,or can you stay north of those markers and make a gradual turn and head up river? I think the only time I was up thast way, I came thru the narrows, but want to avoide, since I have to have a bridge opening etc.

Bridge opening is on the hour and half hour. The channel on the north was dredged last year and now has good depth.
Stay in the channel til outside the outer markers on the north side and then slowly turn to go upthe Chester. From the outer marker on the channel, steer 75 degrees on compass till the water depth is 13 feet then turn onto 105 degrees compass which should bring you green nine. The rest of the run should be no problem.
