Been very quiet in here all season. Severe thunderstorms and those pesky tornado warnings kept us in yesterday but overall conditions have been 2 to 4 with occasional chop. Is everyone on the water now? Been busy here on the Maine coast...

Tornado watch for us today. Staying on the boat at the marina.

Wanted to go out this weekend. But constant t-storm and tornado watches plus wind did not make it much of a boating weekend. Plenty of projects to do while at the dock though. Next weekend is calling for hazy, hot, humid around here. That either means really good boating weather or t-storms. Let's hope it's the former.

I had put by boat on the market earlier this year and the broker called in April to ask if I would like to have it a small boatshow they were putting on in Essec, CT. So back in April, I got to take the boat for a nice little trip. I put more hours on the boat in April and May than I normally have in all of May and June so far.

Spent Memorial day weekend in Potters cove, haven't been out since. Did buy a new motor (Yamaha 8 HP 2 stroke) for the dinghy and it came with a 1974 Sears fisherman skiff. That is now on my inlaws lake with the 6 horse 4 stroke.

So, I've beeb boating but I haven't been on the forums much. I need to find out if Prospective bought a new boat.

I spent Memorial Day weekend in Newport and I'm going back this weekend. Other than that I've been hanging out on the dock due to weather.

Steve, I spent all day yesterday sailing Lake Champlain on a Cabo Rico 38 that I've 'borrowed' for the summer. Sunny skies and a steady 15 knot wind.

Awesome boating weekend on tap. Will be in Kennebunkport early on then potentially island hopping in Casco Bay. Even with some clouds and scattered sprinkles, seas have been flat and water temperatures have sky-rocketed into the upper 50's!

should be nice in southern ne as well. Going out on Saturday. But need to work on boat to get ready for week long cruise starting 4th of July weekend. So much to do...

I'm hoping to go out Saturday and Sunday. Supposed to be in 80's with 1-2' seas in Ipswich Bay near the Merrimack. Dying to try my new rope/chain windlass I installed last weekend.

Absolutely beautiful weekend starting with the ride out to Block on Friday around noon and returning to Westerly just before 8 this morning so we could grab breakfast, and miss some possible weather that they were reporting.

Block was surprisingly quite, town moorings looked busy, but all of the marinas were about 60% at best.

Weekend was all it was cracked up to be. Winds were a little brisk but nothing to write home about, seas were in the 2-foot range, warm and sunny with water temps in the mid 50's. Some fun-filled hours were added to the Volvos and the raft-ups continued to follow us back to the dock behind the house. Good times! And jmicklov, sorry to hear about your weekend at the Isles. We want to catch up with you and SteveG down in the Port this summer!
