I would only be duplicating what came from the factory both Starry and Hogan have what I'm looking to do. I'm even trying to duplicate the mounting hardware. The unit that I'm looking at comes with standard stainless tube hardware I not comfortable with that do to the size, so I sent them pictures of Hogans hardware and I'm waiting for a price to reproduce something similar. With a little luck my numbers will hit and I can pay for this.

Yep, the extended platform was a factory option.

Dave, Bob's has two additional brackets on his, that I don't have. They are small ones on the closest to the outside edge that stop some of the flexing. I'm not worried that I don't have them, the thing has lasted 10 years with no problems.

I didn't take note to it when I was on board but it looks strong as hell. I'm sure there is a reason they added them but I didn't even notice I looked at his too. But His boat scares me last time I when near it, it hit my in the head and it hurt for daze.

He is a couple of pounds heavier than me, maybe that's why they needed the extra bracket.

That's just mean and I resemble that remark.

We have been down since last night my first time on the boat that it is snowing. It is really beautiful here with a heavy snow. We are nice and warm I have the spreader lights on watching the snow through the back double cockpit glass doors. This is our last weekend in the water with snow. We have some great pictures to remember the event.

Just watch your step, snow on fiberglass is quite slippery. Trust me, I speak from experience.
