The wind has died down and it is a wonderful night. Glad we are on the boat enjoying the end of the season!

I think north of us got it worse than us. We had some 50mph gusts today. The last 2 days have been very windy. Right now it is all quiet no wind finally. We would like to get some cruising in tomorrow.

End?

End is in December..........

It's the start.

The start of fall striper and blackfishing.

I have to agree although we don't fish we enjoy this time of year it gets real quiet and peacful down here on the water. Some of our best time spent on the boat is November and early December.

I'm afraid the end is here. I will drop the boat off this week. I will have to wait to shrink wrap due to some repair work but everything else will be done soon. If we get a nice weekend I would like to do some detailing work. I enjoy hanging out at the boat even if it's not in the water. I'm already thinking in terms of next season and looking forward to planning several trips and many fun weekends on board. After all it's only six months away:)

You folks may be regretting the end, but consider how dang good the weather was up North this year! It was a great season if I am not mistaken!

Me?

I'm down South grinding down prop shafts and rudders, swapping out shaft seals, and repacking rudders. If it all works we might actually get floated again! On six hours of grinding today, and it looks like another 8 at least.

Good for you Dan! Keep us posted on your progress, I love your updates from the Abacos. Get down to Staniel and the Exhumas, it's a much different place than the Abacos.

Both are great places to hang out and enjoy life!

We have had the best season in the last 5 years I can think of in South Jersey. Almost no rain and when it did rain it was a one day event. In early March when we launched it was pretty snotty but we were in March 8th.

Yes, it was a fribulous, frabulous, grib-grab glabulous season!

I'm done I dropped the boat off yesterday in the middle of some strong winds. Thank you Rumdiet for being there for me twice in one day timing is everything. I wasn't there when they hualed the boat but I did get a call telling me I still have bottom paint, I feel relieved.
I'm still waiting on the insurance to get back to me reguarding the damage so I can make arrangements for repairs.

Dave what happened??

We finally got launched and so far so good.

nothing major just some bow rail damage due to a broken line during a storm. I'm having trouble finding someone to do the work.
