I'm sitting on my boat and nobody is around. Where did all the people and boats go? I don't get it.

It was 27 degrees outside when I woke up. What the heck are still doing in the water?

Bah humbug. Plenty of time left. Everything is winterized except for engines and heat. They will be fine. It would have to be a sustained freeze for days before they were effected in the water. I plan on having Thansgiving dinner on the boat. Heard you invested in auto trim tabs. Let me knowmif you want some help installing. They really are great. It can get very tiring pushing the rock switches.

You are my kind of boater!!! I often spent Thanksgiving Weekend on my boat. There was one other berther who was often there too. His In-Laws lived nearby, so he could do both the family thing and the boating thing!

You could have come over to PennyBridge and helped me build my KoverKlamp frame...

It's a great time up there now. Heck we came out in December I think it was 2003. I had to break up the ice in the pit with the dink before we brought Freedom into the pit.

No problem. You done? I'll be up there today around one and will stop by to see how the progress is going. Had a nice D-dock party last night at the restaurant in Haverstraw Marina. We had 20 people. There was only one other table all night. Have no idea why they keep their door open this time of year. They even had an excellent seven piece band playing to two people at the bar before we moved over aft dinner.

We were out on the hook all day yesterday, it is a beautiful time of the year in the North East for boating. They will probably be turning off the dock water sometime today. We plan on coming down after Thanksgiving dinner and stay a few extra days. This week we were only home 2 days the rest of the time we were on the boat. If your into fishing the Stripers are great this time of year off LBI.

Weather is in the 80's today on the Northern Gulf Coast.
It sucks to have to go boating in the winter... Oh yeah!

No so bad herenin NY today either. Hit 70 today. Saw several boaters on the river. Didn't leave the slip but spent an enjoyable day just hanging out.

Had a good time last night but I was stuck working all day today so I didn't get to enjoy the weather. Sorry I didn't get to stay and hear the band they sounded pretty good before I left.

We went back out and hung around the back bay on the hook for about 6 hours today. The winds were not bad and the temps hit the high 60's. The sun was out most of the day. About 4:30 we headed back to the dock and got tied up. To our surprise the marina is going to leave the water on for another week. Tomorrow I will be working from the boat. Either tomorrow night or early Tuesday my wife and I will head home and then return after Thanksgiving dinner.
