Hey Doug,
Congrads...you will have a ton of fun. You brought it home????Did it have a trailer???I saw that bought in Gilford.....right???
Still on Winni???
I was doing a job out at Gunstock and I think I saw that boat on Route 11.
You cant fool the Carver family... we have eyes everywhere.
You have some great fall weather ahead...enjoy. And dont forget to send some pics to the other topic...pictures and stories.
Bob
Just got back from first night of boater safety class given by the state. We are very new to this.
Am amazed what great condition it's in for an '89. It's past owners must have really loved it.
It was already named "Mahalo" and it has sorta grown on us. So it's staying...
Bob - That's the one from Route 11. Now it's in SW New Hampshire and winterized. In the spring it's going to the Hudson River near Waterford. We already have a slip reserved.
It came with a 2004 Karavan trailer. A friend towed it down for us yesterday. Didn't think my Jeep Wrangler would quite make it!
bet you can't wait till spring. did you have a survey done? what about a sea trial? if so, jot down the rpms at various speeds. it's not unusual to have some small issues in the spring from the winter lay-up (especially on older boats). it'll help to have these numbers on-hand to shakeout any issues found.
