It's over...

Looking good captain Dan . Thanks for the pictures, glad to hear you and Deb will be back in the creek this summer.
Can't wait to have a beer and hear of the adventures you two must be having . Happy turkey day ,thanksgiving on FREEDOM .....don't get
much better than that I suppose.
ALL THE BEST ! on your journey.................................

LOL! Nice choice of pictures, Dan! In that first one it looks like I'm either saying "Grace" or about to
puke on that sandwich. Seriously, we're glad we were able to join you guys today and in all likelihood be
the last familiar faces you see before heading east! We wish you and Deb safe passage through the Gulf Stream, and
an exciting journey ahead!!!

You guys should be ashamed. Sitting there with great weather, wearing shorts and short sleeves and here they are getting snow upstate.
Shame on you.....But keep enjoying it. I am jealous...

Thanks Pete, we'll take all the help we can get.

Butch you getting SNOW? I thought we pulled all the cold weather south with us.

Did you send Caryl up there with the snowblower?? It would be nice for her to get some practice before the real snows hit us.

4 day weekend stars now for us , if there is no rain in the forcast we plan on getting on the river fri. or sat.
This time of the year I don't feel so bad having a small 26 footer on a trailer , when I buzz by the marinas and see all the big boats on blocks. Going to the land based gas stations isn't to hard to take either now that it is 2.15 a gallon.I am gonna waste some gas this weekend , any takers this weekend ? : )

Naaaa, She does fine here. Dont want her pushing too much this year. Her honey do list is extra long with having to replace my canvas as well as getting the house painted...

I'm sure glad there is no snow here in FTL. We spent a nice day in the park with the kids while my bro' cooked dinner, and my back is starting to loosen up so I might actually be able to enjoy the rest of this trip down here!!!

Good news Pete, we hoped your back would settle down after some rest. It was large to take a ride up here to visit with a bad back. Thanks!

As Homer Simpson said: "Now we play the waiting game.... Oh, the waiting game sucks, let's play 'Hungry, hungry, hippos'

Well, we're glad (?) to be home after our trip south. Not as glad as we'd be if it were 80 out, but since its only in the 60s in Miami this week I'm not complaining too much. Plus a lot of work piled up while I was away and its not going to do itself...

I still have to cover my own boat!!! Thanks to those bulging discs I didn't get very far in mid-November when everyone else was doing theirs!!!

Hang in there Pete, and don't push too hard. As long as the plumbing, engines are set, covering can wait a bit.

Yeah, I know. But it still annoys me because I'm never this late. I was so discombobulated last month I even forgot to send Julie her check for winter storage. I got a bill Dec 1 - embarassing! So I sent her the money with a note to say I'm sorry for making her wait...

Say hello to the seagulls and manatees for me, will ya???

Well it's over for us now, was actually quite nice on the river yesterday and today cept for a little chop today , made it back in time to catch the last quater of the giant game.
3 months or so to go...... happy new year all !
