It's too hot and muggy

I didn't see you up at the boat today I guess you got stuck at work the dreaded four letter word. I got the water heater out and the new one in place I didn't tie it in yet because I want to clean up the area before I make the connections but the hard part is out of the way for sure.

Glad I missed the heavy stuff. I'll be glad to hold the flashlight when you connect the wires.

There is no way you could have helped in your condition I would have been driving you straight to the hospital if you did. Once I clean up the install will only take a few minutes. I picked up new fittings and a new check valve to help speed things along. It's almost time to sit back and enjoy the boating season:) Before you get your wish and Fall arrives.

Dave, I hope you consulted TB every step of the way. He knows EVERYTHING about boating.

Canoes have water heaters?

Funny, but for once he was actually helpful. I had a hard time admitting this but I have certainly been a real prick to him for over a year and yet he keeps coming but for more. I man enough to admit when he is right about something it's a rare event.

It must but one heck of a canoe.

Finally some activity at the marina. I don't know what all these people were waiting for. Hey Mike, the season is a quarter over already.

We got out on the water today. Took the family over the Boat House and had an awesome seafood pot pie. My boy ate a whole bowl of lobster mac & cheese. Yum.

Happy Mother's Day!

We still haven't left the dock maybe next week. Glad to hear you enjoyed the day.

I'll take hot and muggy on the boat anytime over hot and muggy cutting the lawn.

I'm hoping to get in there this coming weekend. I'd like a smoother start to the season than last year. Anyone in my slip yet?

MJK

So I have been in for a month and still haven't left the dock:(

How about you guys has anyone gotten much use of their boat yet? Accept Ken I know you have been out every day and I happy to see you enjoying yourself.

Went fishing 2 weeks ago and caught 12 fish, thats a record for me. Dinghy has seen more action than boat so far.

Looks like a nice set up, how long does the battery hold a charge?

One of the guys in our marina caught a 30 lb striper off Croton 2 weeks ago.

I caught 8 stripers on 3 trips out the last week of april. Two were keepers, over 18". Since then 2 cats and an eel. The water is very muddy and I think it turned the fishing off. Was out saturday afternoon around Croton Point
and not even a bite. Sunday I got one catfish. Today was the eel. Reading the reports on "stripers247.com" no one else up the river is getting much either. That's fishing.
