I have a Jabsco 29 Series toilet that's not working correctly. It is a compact seat - 29020-2000 I believe.
I just installed a new (ebay NOS actually) manual pump, joker valve, and elbow. I also made a new base valve gasket out of cork.
The pump pulls water into the bowl fine, but won't pump the water back out when I flip the switch to 'empty'. With the switch to 'fill", I can feel a good, positive pressure from the incoming water. With the switch on 'empty' however, the pump feels like it's empty when I pump.
My outlet line is clear and I have a vented loop I believe. When I pull the outlet line after pumping a while, water does come out. So it is pumping a bit apparently.
Also, with the elbow off and holding my hand over the outlet while pumping - I don't feel any pressure building up.
Any ideas?
