I replaced the pump assy still cannot get the toilet to pump out not sure what the problem could be anyone have any ideas
 
Is the seacock open? Is there a blockage (plastic bag, etc.) Is the tank vent blocked?

Replacing parts without determining the cause of the problem first is not an efficient way to repair things.
 
That's what mechanics do. And of course YOU get to pay for the parts, whether they were needed or not.
 
Did you fill the bowl with water before trying to flush the first time? The seals on the pump will not seal properly if they are dry and you might generate enough vacuum to pump in the flushing water. And if you run the pump too long in this state you can burn up the impellor blades. Try it again after fill the bowl full of water, and keep adding water if the bowl empties. Eventually you should see the incoming flushing water.

Real mechanics troubleshoot, then replace only the parts that need to be replaced. "Parts Changers" replace parts at random until the problem is solved.
 
I'll give you that one! But they still call themselves "mechanics"... Grrrrrr!

So far we don't even know if this is an electric or manual head. Kinda hard to troubleshoot.
