On a cabin-in-the-woods setting, I want to use
the Par Max 3 connected to solar panel(s)and battery, to pressurize the hot water line, drawing from a black poly tank that will be heating the water to approximately 105-115 degrees (tropical sun).
Will pumping water this temperature damage the pump?
Also, there's no mention in the catalog if it has thermal overload shutdown like the Par Max4.
(Boatfix cannot answer application questions, I tried)

I spoke with Mike Irving in Jabsco's Tech Support area, and he tells me that the Parmax 2, 3, and 4 all have a thermal overload breaker built into the pump.

Also, the hot water in the temperatures you listed shouldn't pose a problem if you only run the pump for short periods of time (15 minutes or less, at a time). The water in your onboard tanks (or in an RV) will sometimes come close to that temperature on a hot summer's day, if it is kept sealed up. (This is my speculation, not something cast in stone, from Jabsco).

thanks, Vic, I was hoping you'd have an answer. The pump would run for short periods of time like you say.Buzz
