Jones Beach Overnight Parking

specifically, Zachs Bay.

will I get ticketed or towed if I leave a car there overnight?

Can't find a rule (other park hours) on the town site

Car will stand out for sure and cops may come looking for occupants thinking they are still in park.
Best to call the park police and ask but I am sure it will be a big "no" if you ask.
Leave note on car saying it brokedown with your name and number and when you will return to get it.

Heard from the Parks Dept that there's no overnight parking so we are going to have to shuttle back and forth on Sat Nite/Sun Morning to pick up my daughter and her friends. Otherwise I would have stayed with the boat all weekend while my wife does the run in the car.

Oh well I guess I should have realized that the kids would eventually push back on spending every weekend on the boat.
