Anyone going to be in the Bay for the fireworks?

Mandeville is the place to be for fireworks! [:-party]

We're heading out to meet up with friends that have been saving us a space anchored out since Monday, later this afternoon. Don't forget the sun-block!

See you out there!

Have fun in the Bay!

I've done the Delta thing almost every year for the past 6 years although we anchored well away from the action at Mandeville.
This year will be my first SF fireworks - well first on the boat

Fairly new to boating here, so I'm excited that I've got a berth at Pier 39 for July 3 and 4, and we'll be seeing fireworks from a boat for the first time!

Guesting or permanent. I'm on F Dock

Towed down to Channel Islands Harbor this year instead of doing Mandeville. Didn't wnat to deal with the heat this year. Weather was perfect in the upper seventies with only a bit of fog at night. The seas were fairly flat with only 10-15knot winds all weekend. Three trips out to the Channel Islands was great. Saw the fireworks from our slip over the harbor. They were pretty good but nothing like Hilton's!

I'm glad to hear that you had a great time in the Bay!

And I bet no A/C was needed!

Wow I'll second that about the SF fireworks - phenomenal. Felt like we had a front row seat in J dock with only the sea lions and sea wall between us and the show. We could see Sausalito's fireworks first, from a distance of course, and then the SF show. Cool how they synchronized two shows to cover the entire city front.

Weather was great. No A/C needed, but also did not need a jacket.
