July 4th weekend question

July 4th falls on a Wednesday this year. Have been trying to ascertain which weekend will be considered the "official" July 4th weekend for 2007-- the one before or the one after? Anyone have a clue?
 
Hummm.... For a real answer im guessing the wekeend after....

But only a guess....

We are doing the weekend before and the weekend after.
Take the whole week!
 
I'm thinking to postpone the usual July 4th trip this year until the following week since probably the whole stretch from the weekend before to after will be busy this year.
