July on the Hudson?

Thanks Hogan....
I checked the Boating on the Hudson Site. Downloaded the January Edition of the magazine but I'm really not interested in what Medical Breakthroughs are happening at some local hospital or about frostbite cures. I 'm looking for information about BOATING on the Hudson.
hecked the other link too and although helpful because it gives phone numbers etc. that isn't really what I had in mind either.
I'll wait patiently for the Title of the Book you referenced.
Thanks

Marina's for transient's in the Poughkeepsie area:
Hyde Park Marina - 845-473-8283
Chelsea Cottage Landing Marina - 845-831-5777
White's Hudson River Marina - 845-297-8520
Poughkeepsie Yacht Club - 845-889-4742

These are all basic places to stay overnight, few if any amenities.

Check the past isses of BOH...Early sping they do marinas, places to eat and other useful information on the river...

Gary, Butch is right about old issues, also keep checking their site, they usually run issues with all the gas and food stops. For example, the June 2007 has dock & dine

The book I have is the 1994 edition of "Boating on the Hudson - The Guide". It appears that they no longer publish it. Try emailing either John Vargo or Ken Davies (who is a BE member) to see if they still have any.

If they can't get you one, I can lend you mine.

Gary, the above is very good advice. Boating on the Hudson is a very valuable resource. their Spring issues will give a wealth of info on the eastern Erie Canal as well as cruising down the River (on a Sunday afternoon as well as Mon-Sat :D)...
