King Cobra woes

Electrolysis turned my King Cobra to dust, wieghing options...impossible to find replacements, no aftermarket units...is transom cutout larger or smaller than a Bravo? Glassing the transom doesn't sound like much summer time fun. Heard a regular cobra would bolt up, 5600 lb boat with a 260 hp gm, would it hold up? Any opinions on my options? Thanks
