I've recently made an appointment with a diver named Frenchie to change my boat zincs when we head up to Kingston next weekend.

Anyone ever use this guys services? Seems like a nice guy over the phone.
 
He's the man to use, he used to live on his sailboat in Stony Point. He was a navy diver. Great guy, you'll have quite a few laughs with him.
 
I second Frenchie. He is one of the best divers in the area. Please tell him Al Prisco said hello.
 
Frenchie is still around, cool!

Good guy, picture in your mind what an old salt might look like and you have Frenchie. He was around the Stony Point bay area for many years.

Sounds like I made the right choice then.

Just hoping that boatfix gets my zinc order to me in time! I know I should have ordered early in the season but Sh!t happens....
 
Frenchie is the man. I know he also travels around and works down your way also so if you don't have the zincs by then perhaps the details can be worked out.
So are you coming up here for Memorial weekend John? If so stop by and say hi. We should be around.
 
Staying at the towndock for one night Dan and not bringing the dink. Most likely won't have a way to stop by your place. But if your in town Saturday afternoon/evening, by all means stop by for a drink!

I'll have to printout this thread and give it to Frenchie and let him know how much he is missed downriver...
 
Another kudo's for Boatfix, ordered the zincs yesterday morning at 7:11am, just checked their website for shipping info and the UPS tracking number shows "Out for delivery"

30 hours from order to delivery is ridiculous!!! Next time I'll order in the early afternoon so I can get the order in less than 24 hours, I hate waiting so long!!!! ;)
 
Frenchie says hi to all!

After being moved between 2 different marinas and then 2 different slips French finally got to do his thing. Great job at a fair price.

Dan, thanks for your help, sorry we didn't get a chance to stop back but after baking in the sun for 2 hours we were toast.
 
John sorry that worked out the way it did and no problem. All you have to do is by my dink to make up for it :D
