Holy Moly, it's Labor Day weekend, only two more months of boating left.

What plans does everybody have?

We'll be in Bowline or at (gasp) Croton.
 
Thinking about staying home and doing yardwork.
 
How many of you are going to the Channel Club? We will be at Croton unless the wind does not cooperate.. then it's Bowline I guess...
 
Was going to go out, but have a surprise 40th in Florida that's a "mandatory attendance"
 
Probably nothing good. Wanted to go out on the boat but will probably be working on the new house. At this rate I may drop her off to get pulled out in a few weeks. Closing costs wiped me out.
 
We're heading out to Montauk Yacht and Resort Club with the crew.
 
I'm sure I'll see you "somewhere" Butch!

I went up to the marina yesterday to fill the fuel tanks and pump out. As I was leaving my slip, I tore a shift cable on the port engine, so I'm now making arrangments to have her hauled and repaired. Delima then became do I pay $400+ to have her hauled or to I have her pulled for the winter and have her hauled under my winter contract.

Decision: Pull out the plastic.

W/E plans just got tossed right out the window.
 
Bad weekend for you, Pete - The Sox are gonna get swept and your boat is out of commission. Can't get much worse than that...

Why do you need to haul the boat to fix a shft cable, can't they do that in the water?

Still up in the air Leigh. We have reservations at the CC but like life things change....
 
Well, I hear there is a waiting list to get in to the Channel Club so I was thinking of selling my reservation to the highest bidder! ;)
 
You got it Rob. Alpha's, so the outdrive hasto come off. As a mater of fact, I told them to change both, before I have to get hauled again.

Mike, even if you are right and we do get swept, which I doubt, we still walk away with a 5 game lead. If that makes for a bad week-end than I'll ake it.

We are going next Thursday and Fiday to watch them play in Camden Yards. We were going to tonights game, but I'm to old for all of the abuse from the "fans".
