Pulled the boat 2 weeks ago so my open lake fishing is done for the year. Fished the West Pier at the mouth of 18 Mile Creek/Olcott Harbor again last night. Another slow night on the pier, lots of fish jumping, both in the lake and in the channel. I actually caught the only 2 fish I saw taken all night.
First was a jack male chinook salmon, about 6 lbs on a green glow 3/4 oz KO Wobbler, 2nd was a 25 lb mature chinook salmon, also a male on a blue glow 3/4 oz KO Wobbler.
My buddy Adam was out as well and caught a steelhead that shook off at the pier.
