Fluke season's closing on the 17th...already closed for CT and NJ I've heard.

Went out the inlet on the outgoing...oh my...Ocean was blowing from SW. Seas 4-6 but not too close together. Needeed 8 oz to connect with bottom. Had some real nice fish, kept 7 for 3 guys. Couple of 31" very thick fish with a 29" and 27". All in all a nice day...
Tight lines...

19.5" for fluke, 28" for stripers. Might get out for one more fluke trip this weekend but still lots of plans up in the air depending on weather...

Ratdoggy, Jersey season closed 9/10. Size was 17" & 8 fish per angler. Re stripers in NJ..at 28" or above. No closed season. Can catch & keep 0-3 miles off shore. In Atlantic Ocean; greater than 3 miles off shore is closed.

Forecast for the weekend seems ok with me...going to get my last shot in.

Sunday turned out to be a really nice day...lite winds, little current, crappy Fluking. Caught a bunch and kept 3 fish, all 23". Had a nice day on the water...sorry to see the Fluking end. Now as we all turn our attention to Striped Bass...

About a day after they announced it was closing on Sept 4th they pushed it back to Sept 17th.
