I have a leaking exhaust pipe on an 87 mercruiser 165. This will be my first time changing the pipe and wondering is there any advise or tips on this repair? this sucks because I thought the leak was from the shift bellow. I did a complete transom bellow kit to find the pipe is leaking. I can run water in the exhaust cutouts at the outdrive and watch it come inside the boat. Im preparing the engine for removal this week.
