LEAKING OIL PAN NUT

Can anyone give me a fix for a leaking oil pan nut on a 1991 carver aft cabin. The engine is a 454 volvo 330 HP. The nut has a metal washer and a plastic washer but will not seal. I keep getting small amounts of oil in the bildge. I cannot seal it or tape it as the 1 1/2" hollow nut has a hole that lets oil go directly to the dip stick to check the oil. It is machined threded may have been over tightened at one time.

a nice soft washer is needed. dont use two washers that never works. Change washers add a quart and see what happens over night.

The washers came with a replacement nut kit.I believe the problem is the pan threads have been slightly striped.
