I have a 2005 Bayling 222 Classic. The storage area in the bow (below deck), which happens to be the biggest storage point aboard continues to fill with water, whether in dry dock for weeks at a time and when on water. I can find no water entrance point, and it is driving me nuts. The dealer said they have corrected this by installing some kind of hull drain in the boat (haven't picked the boat up from dealer yet to confirm). Any ideas where the water may be coming from and how it continues to make it's way to the bow storage area?

No rain over the 2 week period in dry dock. Can't figure it out. Maybe fresh water leak from fresh water tank?

That could do it! Or if you have a bow anchor locker.........

I'll check out the rub rail, though not sure how to test that (suggestions?). I've emptied the bow anchor locker and tesetd it for leaks; can't find anything there, but there are no other places I can ssee where the water may be coming from.

Empty your fresh water tank and suck your bilge dry next time you're out of the water. If water collects again, it's not coming from the water tank or lines. Do you ever hear your fresh water pump cycle on and off when you're not drawing any water?
