I think it's called Liberty Landing Marina. We were there last year and even at the marina you can barely hear, you pretty much have to buy tickets and get in...not sure if its a band shell or stadium, but the sound is very much contained. If there is an anchoring area is away from the festival since the Statue is so close and you know you can't anchor there.
That was my concern, that the Statue and Ellis are too close to slip in and hear. And nope, I'm north of the Tap -- had thought we'd take a jaunt down to listen. We had gone up to Kingston just before July 4th and heard some great jazz -- had a great time! Figured we could redo the idea, only with dinner "down south"...
