What is the depth of the channel between Watson Island and Biscayne Island going from the ICW towards Miami Beach; the cut between McArthur Causeway bridge and the Venetian West Bridge? I know that the tourist boats go through there, but my charts show only a wide area of 3' at MLW between the two islands. Can I get through there with a 5' draft in anything other than high tide?

I ve never seen less than 7' MLW. I go thru there pretty often , used to do it with a 6.5' draft so I used to avoid dead low. Now with a 5' draft I don't care
