Dave, Restore The Delta is a non-profit which lobbies against the water interests which want to take even more water from the Delta. They fight against things like a "water transportation system" aka peripheral canal.

The links I posted have no advertisements. One is a fund raiser for the non-profit, and the other is their eNewsletter which keeps readers informed about the political shenanigans going on regarding the Delta.

I am very familiar with Restore The Delta and I have no problems with links to them. However, both of the links you posted led somewhere else. I tried them both, more than once and I think there was an error in the linking. Sorry about that, I know you have good inetntions, even if you are a landlubber now ~~~

I didn't realize the links didn't work here. They use an outside vendor for their web postings, Constant Contact, which IS commercial. But the links I posted only show Restore The Delta Info. [th]

Even though I am now a landlubber [but NOT a flatlander!] I still love and care about the Delta and its health and wealth.

I couldn't see why they were locked either. When I clicked on the links they went right to the restore the delta site.
