Friend of mine is having trouble with a claim with his insurance company. His boat sunk, and I do not know his coverages. Is there such a thing as a public adjuster for marine issues or is it handled by a Marine Surveyor? Can someone direct me to which ever and whom to contact.

FWIW, I know of a surveyor that was helpful to us in our purchasing process. Very nice guy too, always available by phone to us to help us with questions. He's in the Tampa area but he makes frequent trips to the FL east coast for surveying jobs. His name is Capt. Mark Wallace and phone is 727-577-8125.
