Looking for a surveyor in Northeast, MD area.

Can anyone recommend a great surveyor in this area. I am getting ready to OK the purchase of a 2003 Cruisers 3372 and need to find a surveyor. The boat is a Repo, but in great shape, so I really want to have someone that does a thorough job.

Define tough. Tough to deal with or tough on the boat and seller.

I really like Reno Panico 301-807-7593. He's a great engine guy too.

SAMS, AMS and ABYC Accredited.
 
The broker asked who my surveyor was and I mentioned I was still researching, but I got a recommendation for Capt. Joyce. He has worked with her and agreed she is very thorough. He also mentioned Capt. Robert Kisinger. I normally would shy away from their recommendations, but we'll check out a few in the area.

I've used Bob Kissinger a couple times (2 prepurchase and 1 insurance). He's the one I go to in this area. I tried to fly him down to FL a few years ago but he was too busy to go.

My bro in law has used Joyce Nolen about 3 times and has been happy with her.

I think unless you hear otherwise, either one of these 2 may do the trick.
