looking for carver fiberglass part

Hi, I'm a new member to the carver family and I bought a 1987 32 mariner. I'm looking for the cover above the sliding glass door that is outside. Any help would help.... thanks
 
a picture would help but unless you can find a junked boat another soultion will be required. PIX?????
 
it's a Carver made piece that is unfortunately no longer made...you'll either have to have one made or find one from a junked boat.
 
Thanks, I will have to find a boat yard anyone know of a few I might call. There are none in norhtern Idaho.
 
You may be able to replace it with a frame and canvas. IIRC, I've seen it done that way on an older model at my club. I'm not sure if it was original or a redo, either way, I would guess it may be a cheaper option and there would be a weight savings.
I have a '93 Mariner and have that "overhang" over the glass door as well.
 
Thanks I have the full canvas to cover the back, but still would like the overhang It looks great and I wouldnt have all the canvas to deal with. There is allot to learn about this boat and it seems harder to find parts..

again pix would help a lot. Are you sure it cant be repaired? almost anything FG can be.
 
My 86 Mariner has the pipe frame and canvas-I think that was standard on that year. If you need pics I can take some. I'd prefer the fiberglass awning over the canvas awning but you take what ya get. I'm sure pipe would be cheaper than a fiberglass fabrication. My canvas cost about $300 when I had it made up.
