Looking for Marine Engine Mechanic near Rio Vista

We moved our boat to the Delta Marina in Rio Vista for a few months. After the trip my port engine developed a knock. I am looking for a good mechanic to look into the problem - any recommenedation or cautions out there?

Boat is a 1961 Chris Craft with Chevy 350 and 250 hours on ten year olad engines. Knock is bad at 1500 rpm but not at idle or above 2000 rpm. Does not matter in or out of gear or load placed on the engine; just rpm.
