somewhere between Kismet and Wantagh :(

I guess I forget to reattach it after having to check an engine alarm condition just as I left Kismet.

I would love to get it back but I am more worried about it as a danger to navigation.

Should I alert the Coast Guard?
 
I'm sure it's well out of the water by now. Boaters love to pick bouys, fenders, cushions , and coolers.
 
Guess theres a good reason to put your name in it somwhere!
Well look at the bright side, you said your boat got slower, now it got faster!
 
In the early 80s, a buddy of mine and I got swamped in a little 12' aluminum dingy we went out in to go for a swim. Off Biltmore Shores a 25' or so express type boat went by, didn't offer to help, but thought nothing of picking up our cooler and kept right on going. When we finally got bailed out, we spent the rest of the day looking that boat. Never found it. Goes to show people being a-holes is not a new thing.

Oh yeah, I'm sure your cooler got picked up, I got off track.
