This was a busy weekend with family stuff only left me with a late start on Sunday to use the boat. We got to the boat late sunday morning but the moment we stepped on board I felt relaxed. We invited another couple (friends that made the move to the marina with us) to joins us for a ride to Northport. We went to the town dock which to my surprise is free to visit, then walked the town and eat lunch. By the time I got home last night I felt so rejuvenated I felt like I took a mini vacation!

There is no way that it can even come close to how great "the resort" is.

Croton Point was very quiet on Sunday

Bowline was empty on Saturday, we had 3 Trojans rafted up, and there was one other boat in the pond. Sunday was a little busier, but still very empty.

The nicest weekend so far this season, and nobody was out.

Lol we do miss the people at the dock but hard to compare the boating experience! Like you I have been boating on the Hudson for about 40 years it's was time for a change! Looks like I will be at the marina soon Allen just asked me to give him a hand with his satellite TV I will try to help him soon.

Glad you had a good time in Northport.
Is your boat hull dark or black?
Did the dockmaster give you a Northport welcome package?

Why do you still have your homeport "Haverstraw NY"?

Would love to do a season or two up on the North Shore.
