I have a Jabsco macerator, can't read the model #. It used to run and make a higher pitched whine and we would turn it off thinking the tank was empty. Recently it has been running then abruptly slows and stops and then the circuit breaker trips on the distribution panel. In looking into a new one I see some will shut off when the tank runs dry. On models that shut off when they run dry do they trip the circuit breaker? This does not seem right. Do I need a new macerator. If so which brand model will I never have to touch again since I am not looking forward to this job.
