My cords have the led indicator on the male end. The protective lens fell off last year. I called Marinco and they mailed out replacement lenses that were just not up to standards. The replacement lenses didn't adhere to the cords. HEck they wouldn't even stick to paper. Fast fwd to this season and the leds didnt illuminate at all. Called tech support and to my pleasant surprise they sent me two replacement cords. So if u have ELL cords that's aren't working as expected call em up !
