Well...we launched it yesterday and I took it for it's maiden sea trial. It's a beautiful burgundy boat that just blows you away when you're running it. Those who thought it has limited visibility are wrong...I never once found myself needing or wanting more. She topped out at almost 43 mph and cruised comfortably at 32 mph (twin IPS600's)...Just a fantastic ride that...if I had the cash...I would not hesitate to buy!

Kenny, I had a test ride & felt on Plane it was fine. But, on take off the Bow Rise was substantial and gave you limited ahead view until it sat down. My head could not go any higher with the low roof line due to the Sonroof unless I stood about in the aisle. On a nice day I'd end up driving her with my head fully out the Sunroof for comfort & visability. It really gave me a feeling of claustrophobia sitting on the right side Helm Seat where the controls are designated. I've not been on the 50SC maybe things are improved?

Art...the 50SC is similar to the 40...I haven't been on it yet, we ahve one coming in mid june with the triple IPS 600's. When you went for your ride...did the captain set the trim tabs to auto? Doing this really helps the bow come down alot quicker. I didn't have an issue with bow rise, but I ran it with the tabs on the auto setting.

I didn't take notice of the trim tab settings? I was appreciating the speed & handeling it had & a good ride. It was a very nice boat & for sure a head turner at the dock. Gally area was very limited for any other storage besides some glasses. IPS was fantastic for docking a no brainer. No real Stern storage for fenders & gear either? I'm sure things will improve as the model gets tweeked by customer comments with its use? It has all the makings of a great boat. I can see many being sold just for the unique style & handleing.
