Mayberry Slough

Went through Mayberry Slough Sunday cutting across to the Sacramento River and the only two boats we saw were fishermen. One anchored and one bass fishing. It was very nice. No water skiers and there should have been at the time we went through. Just an update.

Yes, indeed, it wasn't a bad weekend out there at all. We were in the 'cut' both days and Sunday was especially nice. There was once persistent boat with water skiiers, but they were very considerate. We were on hook at the 'far' end (North?) of the cut. They kept away from us by going through an opening between the 2 cuts and circling around that way. It was really nice for a change to have someone be so considerate! Actually, depending on the time you went through, one of the boats you saw might have been us (although we aren't fisher-people!).
