Mercruiser gear lube monitor bottles

Hi all

My round type gear lube oil bottles from 2001 are getting cracks around the bottom near the hose fittings and one is weeping. Has anyone found a subsitute bottle that will do the job? I seem to remember a guy talking about Cannon black toner bottles.

I use an aftermarket radiator reservoir. You get to put in a large amount of gear fluid that puts extra positive pressure in the drive.
