Hey all you fellow Delta Boaters - it's been a delight meeting you all over the past year (although I never met anyone in person) and I wish you all the best for the Holidays and in the comming year.

This is such a great group, with some of the most helpfull, entertaining, and just plain nice people I have met. I look forward to actually meeting some of you this year!

Be safe, Peace.

Jim

Right back 'atcha Jim, and all my fellow Delta boaters! May Christmas bring you all peace and joy, and may the new year bring you good health, prosperity and joy!

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope everyone has a good boating season in 2009!

Yes Happy Holidays fellow skippers.

I will try a little harder in 2009 to plan a get together so we can enjoy each other's company and some salmon bisque, salmon pasta salad, salmon sandwiches and lemonaide.

Best holiday wishes to everyone! We are out of town. How's the Delta weather? Is it a white (tule fog) Delta Christmas?

Merry Christmas to all. Be glad we can go to our boats this weekend and actually use them.
Many of BoaterEd's "population" cannot due to the cold weather. --- Dave

Fog is due to settle in after the current storm blows through. It will probably be foggy this weekend and on into next week......

I'm having a white Christmas in the Gold Country. It has been snowing off and on for two weeks and is snowing as I type this!

Thanks Flutter, I was wondering when a storm would finally come in. We left on the 16th and missed the weather.

I hope everyone HAD a great Christmas! (Sorry...I just saw this thread!) I would love to get together and meet you fine folks sometime in spring! I hope you all have a very pleasant New Year and a wet and wild 2009!

Hopw to be out on the water aboard FlyWright this weekend out of Riverboat Marina. Do we have a BoaterEd Delta VHF channel? I'm often on 72, 69, 68 and, of course, 16. Hope to see you all on the water in 2009!

No, we don't have a BoaterEd Delta VHF channel. But we can assign one once the details of when and where are determined. Good idea.

I'm a little late, but I hope that everyone had a good Christmas and is looking forward t a prosperous New Year. We will be docking at the Rusty Porthole on New Years Eve in preparation for the Frozen Bun Run on New Years morning. We'd love some company and the Porthole pours a great Bloody Mary; Just look for the tall blond kid with a white cane. Dad will be on the dock supporting him but staying out of that frosty water.

Hey Dave, the Frozen Bun Run just wouldn't be the same without you and your son there!
