What engine power is recommended as an
minimum effective auxiliary outboard
for a sternleg 19 footer, 2400lbs, 16 degrees
dead-rise bowrider ?
Is a 3.3 hp or 5 hp enough - they could be hidden in a compartment... ?
Or at least 6hp or 8 hp?
Those bigger ones tend to look ugly -sitting on
an aux. bracket... are there temporary brackets
available to go on the swim-platform?
Can anyone help here with thoughts & experience?
